Giving harvest thanks

A new Chaplain for Bishop Hugh
Published: 30th September 2026Bishop Hugh has appointed the Revd Fiona Green to be his new Chaplain. Fiona is currently Vice Principal, Dean of Lay Ministry, and Safeguarding Lead at Ridley Hall Theological College in Cambridge. She will move to Worcester to take up the role supporting Bishop Hugh in January.
Penny Gordon ordained Deacon in Wick

Five new lay ministers licensed
Published: 19th September 2026Five people from parishes across the Diocese were admitted to the office of Reader on Saturday in Worcester Cathedral. The Bishop of Worcester, Hugh Nelson, conducted the service, licensing the individuals to minister in the parishes they have been called to serve.

Celebrating the full re-opening of Wribbenhall Church

12 people ordained Deacon and Priest
