Job description:
We have:
- different approaches to worship, from liberal catholic through to contemporary with ease;
- our schools/NextGen ministry, reaching 1,000 children a week;
- a specialist dementia centre, a community fridge, a bereavement cafe, arts and crafts, concerts, friendship meetings and activities, etc;
- our commitment to inclusion of all people, whatever their gender, race, sexuality, ability, culture, background or belief.
We are asking for a priest who will:
- nurture the faith of us all, capturing our imaginations, both within and outside our worshiping communities;
- promote outreach, reaching children, young people, and their families;
- broaden the pastoral care provided;
- build on what we have started with our local communities;
- enable growth as a sensitive innovator;
- develop our worship, with a commitment to the flourishing of diverse forms of expression;
- promote good stewardship, actively engaging with the practical aspects of church life.
