Summary:

We are looking for a practising Christian with a passion for, and experience of, youth work.

Job description:

We are a registered charity situated in Harvington near Evesham, Worcestershire and sponsored by our village’s Anglican and Baptist Churches with excellent support from our Parish Council and local residents.

 

This post provides the opportunity to enhance the current youth work in Harvington and develop other youth groups in the surrounding villages of the Benefice. Specifically

  • To develop contacts with young people and families in the area.
  • Manage, lead, sustain, co-ordinate, recruit and encourage the team of volunteers working with the three existing groups.
  • To appraise and develop youth work opportunities in the rural communities.

We can offer you on the job training to enhance your skills, a keen team of volunteers and a real sense of excitement, challenge, adventure and three groups of fun-loving youth, ranging from the ages of 7 to 18 years.

 

There is also a strong association with Messy Church in the local area.

 

Salary:

£27,681 plus pension

Hours:

37.5 hours per week to include evenings and weekends
