Salary:

£29,120 per annum (or pro rata) plus pension. This is a fixed term contract for 2 years related to the funding of the role.

Job description:

Are you looking for a part-time, flexible role where you can use your passion for networking and growing new worshipping communities in our churches?

We are four churches in Hallow, Grimley, Holt and Lower Broadheath: “The West Worcester Beacon”. We are passionate about our churches becoming known as places of prayer, hospitality and joy where everyone is welcomed and celebrated, and where God’s love in Jesus Christ is shown and shared, in good and hard times alike. We are looking for a part time project worker (approx. 9 hours per week) to develop and deliver:

  • Community conversations with local stakeholders such as businesses and schools
  • A new communications strategy across social and print media enhancing our brand and our ability to connect with our community
  • Increased accessibility to and participation in our established and new worshipping communities,
  • Reach out to people new to the area.

If you are a self-starter, natural networker and have a passion for building inclusive communities then we would love to talk to you! You will also need:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of hands-on preparation and delivery of campaigns using high-quality accessible written materials, to leverage your expertise in reaching a range of stakeholders through different channels.
  • A track record of successful project management with good data and analytical skills
  • The ability to travel independently and some flexibility in hours worked to facilitate evening meetings is required.
