Created: 16th April 2024 at 17:40

Clergy Vacancies

The parish of Kingswinford is seeking a Pioneer Priest and genuinely wants the person appointed to exercise the pioneer ministry which God has called them to, as they journey alongside them.

Job description:

The parish writes:

We hope for someone who can challenge us, theologically and prayerfully, to reach out to those parts of our parish currently untouched by our churches; someone who can develop and lead new worshipping communities and support our Children and Families' Worker in bringing children and their families to faith. We want someone who has a heart for inclusive theology to be part of the next page in this parish’s long history.

We are a sacramental church and believe that a pioneer would be able to fully engage with sacramental ministry in its broadest sense to show people the mystery and beauty of God in their lives today.

Our new Pioneer Priest will be someone who:

  • Is sympathetic to Anglo-Catholic theology and practice
  • Has proven experience in pioneering and leading incarnational mission initiatives
  • Is able to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships within the parish community
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Can demonstrate leadership and organisational abilities

We welcome an application if you would like to be part of this new and exciting stage in our journey, are committed to working with an emerging team, and wish to fully exercise your pioneer ministry.

For a discussion about the role please contact the parish priest: Fr Adam Hadley / 07759 900947
