The Dean of Worcester, the Very Reverend Peter Atkinson, will officially retire on Friday 25 August, after more than 16 years in the post, and 43 years as a priest in the Church of England.
The Church of Ascension in Wall Heath in Greater Dudley deanery ran a new holiday club for primary school aged children this summer.

The West Worcester Beacon Team (Hallow, Grimley, Holt & Lower Broadheath) started their new worshipping community, ‘Wild Church’ at Holt Church last Spring. Each month, people gather to worship God outside, whatever the weather, and they have worked with a local charity, Wildgoose, who have created a number of benches for people to use.
