The Bridge Counselling Service in Worcester

The Bridge is celebrating 25 years of offering counselling to people in Worcester.

Started by a group of Christians from different churches across Worcester, it retains a Christian ethos and offers counselling on a ‘pay what you can’ basis. The majority of clients would not receive counselling otherwise as they could not afford private rates.

All counsellors are volunteers, supported by two part-time paid staff, an Administrator and a Clinical Lead, and volunteer admin assistants. We would welcome additional qualified counsellors to join our team. The service is based at the Angel Centre in central Worcester, where the team offers in-person counselling.  A blended service is offered that includes counselling online and by telephone, so counsellors work in-person at the Angel Centre or online either at the Angel Centre or from their own home. The service is also recruiting additional admin volunteers, for a 3-4 hour session each week.

If you are a qualified counsellor who can spare 2 or 3 hours per week, or if you are interested in being a volunteer admin assistant, please email: admin@b-c-w.org.uk or phone 01905 731850 and leave a message.
