Looking for churches to take part in funded wellbeing pilot

The Church of England is partnering with registered charity, Renew Wellbeing to support churches in creating open spaces of welcome and inclusion for their local community.

As a diocese, we have the opportunity to join a pilot scheme and are looking for churches who would like to be involved and create a ‘Renew’ space in their churches.

What is a Renew Space?

Renew spaces are simple cafe style spaces run by local churches where hobbies and activities are shared or co-produced. Each cafe space is attached to a prayer space or quiet room. Each church partners with a mental health professional from a suitable local organisation. Working together this provides a safe space where ‘it's OK not to be OK’.

Full training and support is provided and the project is centrally funded.

If your church would be interested in exploring this further and perhaps being part of the pilot, please contact Kim Brown on kbrown@cofe-worcester.org.uk.
