Silver Church & School Partnership Award for Lindridge

Lindridge St Lawrence CE Primary School and Lindridge Church in the parish of Teme Valley North are the latest to be awarded a Sliver Church and School Partnership Award. Representatives from both the school and church were presented with the award at a special service in church.

Muddy Boots Magi to travel Worcestershire

This year, the Muddy Boots Mission Area has some very special visitors. The Magi—Melchior, Caspar and Balthazar—along with Drusilla the Camel, set off from Rock Church on Sunday to follow the star in search of the new King.

Bishop's Certificate Presentations 2025

The Bare Necessities

The congregation of Holy Trinity Church, Malvern, recently enjoyed a service featuring 'Telephones and Toilets', led by Reader Eileen Tomlin. As a result, enough money was raised for seven local toilets to be 'twinned' with other toilets in more deprived areas of the world, providing safer sanitation.

New WW2 monument unveiled in Cradley Heath

On Remembrance Sunday, a new monument was unveiled in the grounds of the former St Luke’s Church in Cradley Heath. Local sculptor Luke Perry wished to honour his grandfather, Eric Attwood, a Chainmaker during World War 2, which was a Reserved Occupation.

Great Malvern Priory celebrates National Lottery grant

Diocesan Small Churches Choir

At the celebration service for small churches service held in the Cathedral last May, a number of singers expressed a wish to be able to sing together more often. Mark and Linda Blackwell from Fladbury (Nr Evesham) felt called to use their experience to try to set up a choir made up from singers from the small churches across the Diocese to sing at occasional services at Worcester and other cathedrals.
