Elmley Castle, Bricklehampton and The Combertons PCC has successfully applied to the Kingdom People Fund for a grant to purchase a contactless giving machine.
St Barnabas CE Primary in Worcester held a whole school harvest festival at St Barnabas Church this week. The service included the presentation of certificates to the winners of a harvest poetry and art competition which was run by the Church for children at the school.
Suckley Church has been shortlisted for a National Churches Trust award in the Church & Community Volunteers category – run with the Marsh Charitable Trust.
St Clement's Church in Worcester will shortly celebrate it's 900th birthday, telling the story of the church over the years, including its journey from East to West.

28 people received a certificate from Bishop John last Sunday to mark the completion of their courses to become Authorised Lay Ministers (ALMs). The special service at Worcester Cathedral was a celebration of this form of lay ministry.
Five people from parishes across the Diocese were admitted to the office of Reader on Saturday in Worcester Cathedral. Bishop John conducted the service, licensing the individuals to minister in the parishes they have been called to serve.

The West Worcester Beacon Team (Hallow, Grimley, Holt & Lower Broadheath) started their new worshipping community, ‘Wild Church’ at Holt Church last Spring. Each month, people gather to worship God outside, whatever the weather, and they have worked with a local charity, Wildgoose, who have created a number of benches for people to use.
