The CEO of Christian Aid, Patrick Watt, met supporters of the charity in Worcester on Saturday for a special event to mark Christian Aid’s 80th anniversary.
30 people from across the Diocese were confirmed by Bishop Martin in the Cathedral on the Feast of Christ the King, with one person also being baptised.
On Remembrance Sunday, a new monument was unveiled in the grounds of the former St Luke’s Church in Cradley Heath. Local sculptor Luke Perry wished to honour his grandfather, Eric Attwood, a Chainmaker during World War 2, which was a Reserved Occupation.
