The parish of Malvern Link with Cowleigh has recently opened a Dementia Meeting Centre in St Matthias Church as part of their ministry to the local community.Â
On Saturday 18 September the doors of St Peter’s in Cradley were wide open to welcome people from the local community and further afield to find out more about the church’s past, present and future.

Churches with 20 or fewer active members make up 45% of our churches. As Dean of Smaller Churches, Alison Maddocks provides practical support to these churches, as well as helping them to connect with each other to share wisdom.
Hanley Swan Primary School have taken up the Bible Society's challenge to create a Psalm 23 garden, which was officially opened last week by the Open the Book team.
Bishop Martin is supporting a campaign calling for churches to take a more sustainable approach to flower arranging and whenever possible, stop using floral foam in their displays.
Five people from parishes across the Diocese were admitted to the office of Reader on Saturday. Bishop Martin conducted the service, licensing the individuals to minister in the parishes they have been called to serve.
19 people have received a certificate from Bishop John to mark the completion of their courses to become ALMs. The special service at the Cathedral was a celebration of this form of lay ministry.
St John the Baptist in Suckley has received a £10,000 grant from the National Churches Trust.
Throughout Autumn, Bishop Martin will be journeying around the diocese in a pilgrimage of prayer and hope, spending two days in each of our deaneries and visiting as many churches as possible.
