The Holy Innocents' Church marks Queen's Jubilee

Deputy Lord Lieutenant, Mr. Paul West, Councillor Juliet Smith, Mayor of Kidderminster and many civic dignitaries including representatives from the Police and the Fire and Rescue Service joined the congregation and members of the community to give thanks for her long life of service.Welcome display at The Holy Innocents

The Thanksgiving included some of the hymns and prayers used during the Coronation, the Jubilee Hymn written by John Betjeman for the Silver Jubilee and the new anthem “Rise Up and Serve” by Graham Kendrick, Mal Pope and the contemporary worship band Rend Collective.Tree planting

After three rousing cheers for Her Majesty the grounds the Deputy Lord Lieutenant and Mayor planted a tree in the grounds to form part of the Queen’s Green Canopy.
