Solomon Unwin from Upton on Severn parish was this year’s winner of the Premier Unbelievable and Spring Harvest Youth Preaching Prize for Skegness.
This year’s APCM at St Kenelm’s Church in Upton Snodsbury marked an historic moment! For the first time in over 60 years, Betty Turgoose was not present because, after serving on the PCC for the majority of her life, Betty had resigned.
One of our Kidderminster benefices has recently launched a new website. They are very pleased with their new site, finding it easy to update and maintain. The website uses the HUBB Church platform and was created by editing pre-populated templates.
The Healthier Churches Fund was created using money which has been freed up from investments alongside some Lowest Income Communities funding from the National Church. Parishes can apply for funding for projects to help make a difference in reaching out in their community and bring more people to faith.
Kim Topham, Associate Priest in Hagley and Clent has recently taken on the role of Maternity Bereavement Chaplain at Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley, as well as being one of their bank chaplains. She supports families who have lost a baby as well as supporting the maternity staff themselves.
Members of both St Matthew's and St Nicholas, Warndon have been clearing the derelict former site of St Matthew's church, which was demolished in 2015. Over Holy Week and Easter, the churches held some short outdoor acts of worship on the site.

The diocesan Criminal Justice Affairs group offers a bi-monthly prayer guide which they hope will be useful for personal and intercessory prayer in local parishes. The March prayers focus on those being supervised in the community.
A special Easter service for adults with learning difficulties and other special needs was held at St Egwin’s Church, Evesham earlier this week. Led by Associate Priest, Caroline Green, it told the story of Easter from the entry to Jerusalem to the appearance to the disciples after resurrection.

St Philip’s Church in Webheath, Redditch, was filled with excitement and wonder when two Reception classes from Webheath Academy stepped into the story of Palm Sunday in a truly memorable way.
As new Deanery Synods will be elected this year, Worcester Deanery has tried to find creative ways to explain to parishes what happens at synod meetings and encourage more people to stand.
