Hope for the Holy Land

Friends of the Holy Land logoOur diocesan Friends of the Holy Land group is planning a special service in the Cathedral on 25 February at 7.30pm. Father Abusada, Director of the School of Joy in Bethlehem will be speaking on what life is like in the Holy Land at the moment.

The School of Joy is a special needs school in Beit Sahour, serving children from around the Bethlehem area. This school is one project supported by the Friends of the Holy Land, an ecumenical charity supporting the beleaguered Christian communities of the Holy Land.

Do come and pray for the Holy Land and hear at first-hand from Fr Abusada what life is like there right now. There will also be the chance to speak with him and learn more about Friends of the Holy Land over refreshments.

All are welcome, but if you can, let us let us know if you’re coming – sueoliver778@gmail.com
