Professor Michael Clarke CBE DL died on 22 December, after some years of suffering from Parkinson’s Disease. Michael gave years of service to the Church of England, to the Diocese of Worcester, and to Worcester Cathedral.
Bishop Michael Langrish reflects on the vulnerable Christian communities that remain in the Holy Land and the work of Friends of the Holy Land.

St Stephen’s Church in Redditch town centre launched a toy appeal this year which will enable Christmas presents to be given to around 600 children who wouldn’t otherwise have received anything.
The Revive Learning Centre at Top Church, Dudley, operated by the Invictus Education Trust, will offer alternative provision to vulnerable students who find mainstream school difficult.
Last month, St Michael’s Church in Norton, Stourbridge held a friendship event for their local community under the ‘As One’ initiative launched by Dudley Council.
Thanks to the generosity of our parishioners, churches across the Diocese have now received over a million pounds through the Parish Giving Scheme.

The 2nd Calling Young Disciples learning hub have met together for the final time & were commissioned by Archdeacon Nikki to continue their journey reaching out to children, young people and families.
