St John the Baptist in Claines and St George's Church in Worcester have both achieved their silver Eco Church award.

The Halesowen Welcome Group was opened in 2008 with the aim of helping combat social isolation and financial exclusion of refugees locally. Started by Churches Together in Halesowen, they now support over 200 refugees and asylum seekers a year with many attending their Monday sessions each week.
Keith Williams and Shane Harrison were both confirmed at the Cathedral on Sunday evening. Both men only came to faith over the last few months after joining the ‘Worship Wednesday’ sessions at The Community Link, Cradley Heath.
31 people from across the Diocese were confirmed yesterday evening in a service at the Cathedral for the Feast of Christ the King. Those being confirmed ranged from age 11 to 77 and came from 16 different parishes.
Faith Leaders gathered at Dudley Council House yesterday to mark Inter Faith Week. Representatives from all the major faiths were present along with the Mayor of Dudley and Deputy Lieutenant for the West Midlands.
Elmley Castle, has started a new worshipping community at St Mary’s Church. The service takes place outside – ‘Messy Church goes Wild’!
