Elmley Castle, has started a new worshipping community at St Mary’s Church. The service takes place outside – ‘Messy Church goes Wild’!
Over 50 people gathered at Worcester Bosch yesterday to celebrate the Calling Young Disciples project as the main part of it comes to an end.
Recently, over 330 children from Jesson’s CE Primary School visited Top Church for an ‘Experience Dudley’ week. The school’s entire Key Stage 2 visited the church over 4 days to learn about faith and the role of the church community throughout the town’s history.
In September, The Children’s Society published their 11th Good Childhood Report, with the key findings in this year’s report showing that UK children’s happiness with their lives continues to decline.
The Calling Young Disciples (CYD) Project will come to an end in July next year. The objective of the project has been to see a significant and sustained increase in the capacity of churches across the Diocese to engage with children and young people - so that they respond to God’s call to be disciples of Jesus.
For three weeks over the school summer holiday, St Martin’s Church on the London Road, Worcester will be hosting a HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) holiday club for children of families on low incomes.

During March 2022, the Knife Angel visits Worcester city centre. This imposing structure stands at 8 metres tall and is constructed from over 100,000 knives and blades confiscated by UK police forces.
