Interviews for our new Bishop of Worcester took place on 12 and 13 June. Archdeacon Nikki was one of the six Worcester members of the Crown Nominations Commission who led on the process and would like to thank all those who were praying during those two days:
“The members of the CNC, both the Worcester Diocesan representatives and the central members, really appreciated the prayer support surrounding last week’s process. It was a good and holy couple of days and there was an awareness of being lifted on the prayers of the faithful people of the Diocese of Worcester, so thank you to all who committed to praying.
“Members are not allowed to divulge anything, so please don’t ask them! The nomination process is complex and led by the Archbishop’s Appointment Secretary and the Prime Minister’s Appointments Secretary throughout. We are unlikely to hear anything about any outcome until September.”
