Renewals Programme Manager Appointed

Published: 17th July 2023

Nathan Conway stood in front of a wallNathan Conway has been appointed as Renewals Programme Manager, a post funded by the Church Commissioners and based out of Top Church, Dudley.

Nathan is currently the Operations Director for the Resourcing Church in Dudley and will take up the new role alongside this, working 2.5 days on each. As Renewals Programme Manager, he will support those churches identified as part of our priority to invest in the renewal of around a dozen churches, to ensure that each major area of population has at least one church with 150 people attending weekly. Nathan’s experience at Top Church will enable him to help resource other church leaders, enabling the church to grow to then be able to support other churches locally.

Nathan said:

“It has been a privilege to be at Top Church for over four years, helping to get the resource church up and running. However, we’re at the stage now that our congregation is thriving, and community engagement continues to grow. Taking on the Programme Manager role gives me a great opportunity to be part of this exciting diocesan priority. I will be working with clergy and laity within the renewal churches to help them realise their vision and release the Church Commissioners funding and am looking forward to working with other church leaders in new contexts, getting to know different churches.”

Nathan will provide oversight of the renewals programme. He will spend time in each of the renewal parishes, offering project management support and then capturing how things are progressing over the next few years.
