New Vicar for Great Malvern Priory

The Bishop of Worcester is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Roderick Corke as Vicar of the Benefice of Great Malvern.

Rod is currently Vicar of the Benefice of St Mary Magdalene and St John the Evangelist, Taunton, in the Diocese of Bath and Wells. He is married to Rita, a relationship counsellor, and they have three adult children, Hilary, Laura and Simon, four young grandchildren between seven years old and six months and Jack, a Springador!

Rod & Rita CorkeRod said: "Rita and I are delighted that God has called us to come to Great Malvern Priory. This is part of a journey of ministry that we have been on since I was ordained in 1992. We are looking forward to working with the congregation and community to share the love of Jesus and to make His love more widely known." 

 

Bishop John will collate Rod rke as Vicar of the Benefice of Great Malvern at 6pm on Sunday 24 June at Malvern Priory.

Please remember Rod and Rita in your prayers as they prepare to move.
