Instead of the children from St Anne’s CE Primary School coming to church for an Easter service, a team from Bewdley Parish took Easter to school!
The older children followed an Easter pilgrimage with six different stops along the way. At each there was an activity and a chance to reflect.
There were even items to collect along the way - such as a palm cross, a pebble from the Garden of Gethsemane, and a chocolate egg when they reached The Resurrection.
The younger children had Easter crafts, stories and songs in the hall. And of course, a chocolate egg!
The day ended with some joyful outdoor singing and prayers, involving parents, staff and children. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and the children were buzzing with excitement!
Head teacher Mrs Harvey said: “It was absolutely brilliant, so well organised and well received. The biggest thank you for today!”
