Bishop John has announced that the Revd Canon Mark Badger is to be the next Archdeacon of Worcester.
Mission Accompaniers supporting parishes across the Diocese gathered at All Saints in Worcester earlier this week for a day of learning, biblical reflection and to celebrate some of the things which have been achieved so far through the initiative.
Nathan Conway has been appointed as Renewals Programme Manager, a post funded by the Church Commissioners and based out of Top Church, Dudley.
On Saturday afternoon, the Worcester Diocesan Synod Motion on the contribution of faith to the rehabilitation of offenders was presented to General Synod in York.
15 candidates were ordained over the weekend to serve in parishes across the Diocese.

The Revd Dr Roger Latham has been appointed as the new Director of Mission and Ministry for the Diocese. Roger will be responsible for leading and developing the team which will oversee our underpinning priority of equipping ministers for mission.
Shaun Mooney has been appointed as the new Director of Finance for the Diocese.
Damian Herbert has been appointed as the new Transformation Programme Director for the Diocese, replacing Rob Quarton who will be retiring at the end of April.
