Reader Weekend at Holland House

Published: 6th June 2024

This year the weekend was wonderfully and sensitively led by Helen Stanton, Warden for Holland House, and took the form of a semi-retreat centred around the theme of “How Can We Sing The Lord’s Song In A Strange Land?” Readers gathered together in the Holland House chapel

In particular, Readers were able to consider how do we proclaim the Good News of Jesus in a broken world, with broken relationships and0 broken lives?

“It was a wonderful weekend of teaching and reflection, the weather was great, the food was great, the company was great.  It was also a privilege that Bishop Martin was able to join with those who were able to stay for the Sunday, to preside at the Eucharist and to share fellowship over lunch.”
