This year’s APCM at St Kenelm’s Church in Upton Snodsbury marked an historic moment! For the first time in over 60 years, Betty Turgoose was not present because, after serving on the PCC for the majority of her life, Betty had resigned.

Kidderminster churches delighted with new easy to maintain website

One of our Kidderminster benefices has recently launched a new website. They are very pleased with their new site, finding it easy to update and maintain. The website uses the HUBB Church platform and was created by editing pre-populated templates.

Maternity Bereavement Chaplain in Dudley

Kim Topham, Associate Priest in Hagley and Clent has recently taken on the role of Maternity Bereavement Chaplain at Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley, as well as being one of their bank chaplains. She supports families who have lost a baby as well as supporting the maternity staff themselves.

Worshipping outside during Holy Week and Easter

Members of both St Matthew's and St Nicholas, Warndon have been clearing the derelict former site of St Matthew's church, which was demolished in 2015. Over Holy Week and Easter, the churches held some short outdoor acts of worship on the site.

New Parish Accessibility Fund

Bookkeeping service for parishes

7th May 2026

The finance team at the diocesan office now offers a bookkeeping service for parishes. It is hoped that this will be particularly useful for those churches who have treasurers wishing to retire or inexperienced treasurers who might need some support taking on the role, particularly with the legal aspects.
