Bishop John has recently returned from a visit to our partner diocese of Peru, visiting some of the projects which have been supported by previous Lent appeals. Read his reflections on the visit.
Yesterday Bishop Martin visited two very different retail settings. Merry Hill in Brierley Hill and Saturday Books in Dudley town centre.
31 people from across the Diocese were confirmed yesterday evening in a service at the Cathedral for the Feast of Christ the King. Those being confirmed ranged from age 11 to 77 and came from 16 different parishes.
As part of a series of visits to different people and places across Dudley Borough, yesterday Bishop Martin spent time at Black Country Radio, the Life Centre Debt advice in Stourbridge and Mary Stevens Hospice.
Bishops John and Martin have written to all clergy setting out their views on same sex marriage in church following the Living in Love and Faith process.
People from across the Diocese have received a certificate from Bishop John, marking the completion of a course designed to help them relate their Christian faith to their own life and locality.
Church leaders from across the West Midlands representing a range of traditions and ethnicities met together earlier in the month to pray together and encourage each other.
Bishop John will take part in the Worcester Big Sleep Out on Friday night to raise money for St Paul's Hostel, Warriors Community Foundation, and Maggs Day Centre.

Ten new honorary Canons have been appointed at Worcester Cathedral in recognition of their work in both the Diocese and the wider Church. Appointments are made by the Bishop of Worcester in consultation with the Chapter of the Cathedral.
Bishop John's Lent Appeal for this year will raise money for our partner diocese of Morogoro in Tanzania.
