31 confirmed at the Cathedral

31 people from across the Diocese were confirmed yesterday evening in a service at the Cathedral for the Feast of Christ the King. Those being confirmed ranged from age 11 to 77 and came from 16 different parishes.

Plaque commemorating persecuted Jews unveiled in Worcester

Dignitaries have gathered in Worcester to commemorate the city’s medieval Jewish community.  Bishop John attended the event, apologising for his predecessor’s actions in helping to drive the Jewish Community from the city in around 1275.

This year’s Cross of St Wulfstan has been given to Miss Marian Collins, 92, who for many years has been PCC Secretary and Churchwarden at St Nicholas Church in Dormston.


Bishop John to cycle the Camino

Bishop John and H-J will be cycling almost 500 miles on the Camino Frances to Santiago De Compostela in Spain to raise funds for the Cathedral.
