Bishop John’s Lent Appeal in 2023 will be for the Anglican Diocese of Peru.
Tomorrow (27/1) is Holocaust Memorial Day. Bishop Martin attended a commemorative event in Dudley Borough which was held at Dudley College last Friday.
Prayers asking for God’s blessing on same-sex couples as they give thanks for their civil marriage or civil partnership have been published today and welcomed by Bishop John.
Bishop John has written an open letter to the Diocese, setting out why he believes that the celebration and honouring of monogamous, faithful same-sex relationships by the Church would be consonant with the scriptural witness.

Bishop Martin hosted a breakfast at the Black Country Institute of Technology yesterday with 20 people from the faith, charity, public and private sectors coming together to share their hopes and dreams for Dudley.

Yesterday Bishop Martin visited two very different retail settings. Merry Hill in Brierley Hill and Saturday Books in Dudley town centre.
31 people from across the Diocese were confirmed yesterday evening in a service at the Cathedral for the Feast of Christ the King. Those being confirmed ranged from age 11 to 77 and came from 16 different parishes.

Bishop Michael Hooper recently baptised and confirmed Karen at Heaton House in Martley where the parish hold a twice monthly communion service.
