TardeBoot brings community spirit

Tables full off things to sell laid across the pews at St Bartholomew's ChurchShoppers and stallholders alike gathered at St Bartholomew’s Church, Tardebigge on Saturday for a bustling TardeBoot event.

The indoor boot sale was well attended, with the church pews transformed into market stalls brimming with crafts, pre-loved treasures, and homemade goods.

The event was a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together, with visitors enjoying the welcoming atmosphere and finding unique bargains. Stalls featured a wide range of items, from knitted and handcrafted gifts to books, toys, and homeware. Many sellers commented on the warm reception they received, and buyers appreciated the chance to browse in the beautiful surroundings of the historic church.

The Revd Sarah Jayne Hewitt reflected on the success of the event, saying:

“St Bartholomew’s, Tardebigge has once again shown how our church can be a hub for community life. It’s wonderful to see so many people coming together, enjoying conversations, and supporting one another. Thank you to everyone who took part—whether as a seller, buyer, or organiser—you’ve made this a truly special occasion.”

With such a positive response, the Team are already in discussion for the next TardeBoot in April.
