Rachel Akers to be Team Vicar in Dudley

The Bishop of Worcester is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Rachel Akers as Team Vicar in the Dudley Team Ministry.

Rachel is currently Assistant Curate in the Benefice of Kidderminster East, in this Diocese.

Bishop Robert Paterson, Honorary Assistant Bishop in the diocese, will be pleased to license Rachel as Team Vicar Thursday 6 December at 7pm.

Bishop Hugh’s first Monday as Bishop of Worcester saw him spending time with two schools. He presented Broadheath CE Primary School and Lower Broadheath Church with a silver Church and School Partnership Award before visiting Wolverley CE Secondary School in Kidderminster where he met with some of the pupils.
