Makers' Fayre at Hallow Church

Ladies chatting in Hallow churchOn Saturday 2 September, St Philip and St James’ Church, Hallow, was host to a Makers’ Fayre with 20 local crafters and makers exhibiting their wares both inside and outside the church.

Curate, Paul Wilcox explains:Two ladies looking at some crafts

"The fayre took place after several months of planning and organisation and the atmosphere was brilliant! Included in the day was a Prayer Doodle workshop, led bt local artist, Kay Mason, as well as a pottery demonstration by Briony Williams.People sitting inside at tent at the fayre

There was very much a festival atmosphere at this community building and fundraising event, and it was topped off by a Musical Soiree in the evening. Following the Fayre, there was also a Cafe Church on the Sunday morning, which was very well attended and appreciated by all!"
