Jonathan Kimber to leave as Director of Ministry and Discipleship

Jonathan KimberJonathan Kimber has decided to move on from his role as Director of Ministry and Discipleship within the Diocese.

He said:

"After nearly 8 years in my current role, I have recently gained a sense of clarity regarding what might come next. As a result, I have come to a decision to move on from this role, just before Easter 2023.

My plan is to move to freelance working, incorporating a combination of training and 1:1 work. My discernment of this step has felt a very clear and positive vocational next step: it rings true, and is exciting – both positive, and with a degree of ‘edge’.

Serving as Director of Ministry & Discipleship in this excellent diocese has been and remains a great privilege. I have learned a huge amount, and continue to really enjoy working with such a range of great people. I will savour the remaining months – and will save farewells until much nearer the time."

Please pray for Jonathan as he prepares to take this new step and give thanks for all he has contributed during his time in the Diocese.
