The Holy InnocentsChurch, Kidderminster will soon be 80.The current church building was dedicated by the then Bishop ofWorcester, Dr. Perowne on 2 July 1938. Church member, Heather Prangley explains how they are celebrating!
"To mark the occasion of our 80th birthday we are creating a Rock Garden. Members of the church, school children,Hall users, and other Community groups have all been invited to decorate a stone. Manyare painted, some have coverings of fabric, lace and crochet while one sports aknitted jacket.
"Joshua 4:20says What do these stones mean to you?Some of the rocks have the date of an occasion/event which must besignificant to the person who planted it, some reveal a passion for animals orflowers in their decorations. Some smallerones join up to spell out words for example, Peace.
