Franksaid: I have had an extremely happy ministry and was a parish priest at a timewhen many of us saw our congregations grow. It has been a great privilege to beallowed to be and do for the whole of life just what you believed you weremeant to be and do.

Frank was evacuated from London to rural Somerset . Hefound his vocation very early at a time when ordination seemed an impossibledream for an ordinary village boy but in 1945 he was fortunate enough tobe among the first children to pass the 11plus examination and so go to thegrammar school the dream became a real possibility and he is still exercisinghis ministry. He firmly believes that if God calls he will enable, hencefor him this anniversary is a time to give thanks both for a God given vocationand for Gods enabling.

Thecelebration of Franks 60 years within the Priesthood takes place at a Sung Eucharistat Fladbury Church on Thursday 20 June at 7.30pm towhich all are welcome.
