Donkeys at Pershore Abbey

Up to eight donkeys & dozens of pets areexpected at Pershore Abbey on 10 June when the story of Noahs Ark will bere-enacted, involving the entire congregation. 

Children and adults areinvited to bring their pets and soft toy animals to join in creating theArk. Other items needed are small umbrellas to fend off the great rainsand toy hammers to help with the woodwork. 

The event, which startsat 3pm on the Sunday afternoon, will include a Blessing of the Pets, and isopen to all ages. 

Canon Andrew Bowden leads the service and the Voice ofGod may echo through the arches.
