Rector of the Worcestershire West Rural Team Anne Potter said:

"It was lovely hearing a programme of secular and sacred music filling the church with voices of young and old. We even had a grandmother and granddaughter singing in their respective choir.Members of Animato children's choir

Each choir sang on their own songs, then joined together for Dona Pacem, a medley from My Fair Lady and Rutter's 'The Lord bless you and keep you', with Claire Daffern and Alan Soper conducting. The concert, which was attended by around 100 people, was followed by cream teas, or pimms and cake in the churchyard, thanks to the lovely weather."

Diocesan Small Churches Choir

11th November 2025

At the celebration service for small churches service held in the Cathedral last May, a number of singers expressed a wish to be able to sing together more often. Mark and Linda Blackwell from Fladbury (Nr Evesham) felt called to use their experience to try to set up a choir made up from singers from the small churches across the Diocese to sing at occasional services at Worcester and other cathedrals.
