Coming together to pray for the Redditch Mission Area

As plans for the Redditch Mission Area begin to come together and new roles are being recruited for, churches across Redditch will be coming together to pray on Tuesday 23 September, at 7pm at St. John's Church Hall, Greenlands.

PCC Secretary in the Holy Trinity Team, Elaine Whitfield, said: “The Redditch Mission Area has recently become a Charity in its own right and we’re on the cusp of an incredible new chapter. Our new Operations Manager will be joining us soon and we’re looking to also recruit a Children and Families’ Worker, Community Missioner and Youth Worker to work across all our churches.

“As we stand on the threshold of this new season, our greatest strength lies not in our plans, but in our prayers. This journey requires us to step out in faith, embracing the unknown with a God who is intimately known. The future of our churches and the Redditch community isn't just a vision - it's a prayer waiting to be answered.  I hope that we will come together and pour our hearts out to God, seeking His guidance for our mission, interceding for our town, and asking for wisdom as we face new challenges and opportunities.”

The meeting on 23 September will be the first in a series of regular prayer meetings for the Redditch Mission Area.
