Christian craft at CountryTastic!

Members of Children's and Youth Councils as well as the Chaplaincy for Agriculture and Rural Life (CARL) were present at the Three Counties Showground today to do a number of Christian crafts with the visitors to the CountryTastic Show.

The Church's stand was organised by Children's Officer, Emma Pettifer with support from CARL. Emma said: "It's great that the show falls on Maundy Thursday this year as it gives us a chance to tell people the real reason for Easter. It's been a brilliant day; the team were fantastic, we had a steady flow of people and it was a great atmosphere."

The church has a significant presence in the countryside. Visitors to the show have the chance to do lots of different activities related to farming and the country and we should be here as part of that. It's also just a fun thing to do!"
