Celebrating joy, creativity and community with iSingPop and Café Church

“We were delighted to take part in a one-day iSingPop workshop at Crown Meadow First School in Alvechurch earlier this term. It was a truly joyful day. Throughout the day, Kirsty from iSingPop, led each class in a lively session exploring the theme of Harvest, helping the children reflect on thankfulness while learning two iSingPop songs and their accompanying actions.children's hands colouring in creation based pictures

At the end of the day, the whole school gathered for a celebration event, a wonderful moment of energy, music, and shared joy. Prayers created by the children during their sessions were read aloud, and the hall was full of singing and dancing as everyone joined together in praising God’s goodness. It was inspiring to see the children so fully engaged.

Every child also received an invitation to our Creation-themed Café Church, held the following weekend. We were thrilled to welcome 27 children, some from Crown Meadow and others who came along with siblings. The children threw themselves back into the iSingPop songs they had learned at school, and the whole gathering was full of warmth, curiosity, and fun.

This Café Church was especially significant as it was the first time we used our new TV and stand, purchased through a generous grant from the Kingdom People Fund. We are incredibly grateful for this support: the equipment has already transformed our worship in the hall, making it easier to share music, videos, and creative resources. People are already suggesting new events and ways we can use it, a sign of the excitement and vision it has inspired.

A comment from one participant summed up the experience perfectly:

“I didn’t know what to expect when the songs were introduced, but seeing the children interact the way they did was simply joyous. I even had fun joining in with the singing and dancing myself!”

We look forward to welcoming iSingPop back again — and hope even more children will join us next time.”
