Bishop John is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd David Morris as Priest in Charge of the Benefice of Abberley, Shrawley & Witleys and the Benefice of Teme Valley North, known locally as The Four Rivers, working alongside neighbouring benefices as part of the emerging Rural Mission Area.
David is currently Rector and Rural Ministry Enabler in The Bowbrook Group in this Diocese and Chairman of the Chaplaincy to Agricultural and Rural Life (CARL). He is married to Kerry, who teaches German and Business at Worcester Sixth Form College. They have two adult daughters, Hannah and Abigail.
Bishop Martin will license David on Sunday 30 July at 4.00pm at St Mary’s Church, off Suffolk Lane, Abberley WR6 6BP.
