The children were treated to gospel workshops with world renowned and award winning conductor and founder of The Kingdom Choir, Karen Gibson and drama workshops with the Royal Shakespeare Company before performing on the stage singing as part of an iSingPOP choir.

Headteacher, Sarah Hanson, commented:

"What a wonderful opportunity for our children to sing alongside world famous gospel singers and be trained in using their voices. At St Barnabas, music is a golden thread that runs through the school and opportunities like this can't be missed! I want to personally thank the Diocese of Worcester who supported us with the cost of the transport to take children from across our community to London, many of them for the first time.

A place where music, community and faith come together for the benefit of every child."

Children who travelled to the festival commented that it was "the best day ever." Staff commented that the day had "filled their cup" and was a truly joyful experience.
