Parochial expenses

PCCs should ensure that parochial clergy and lay workers are reimbursed for their expenses in full at regular intervals.

The Archbishops' Council's Remuneration and Conditions of Service Committee's booklet The parochial expenses of the clergy gives guidance to parochial clergy and PCC treasurers about the reimbursement of expenses. Further information can be found on the Church of England's Clergy Pay and Expenses web page.

Expenses claimable from the DBF

During a vacancy, the DBF will pay to cover some services.

Area Deans and deanery leadership teams (and on occasion others) are able to claim travel expenses from the DBF.
