St Helen's on the High Street opens again!

10 new Deacons ordained
Published: 24th September 2023Ten candidates were ordained as Deacons on Sunday to serve in parishes across the Diocese. The candidates have been part of a new training pathway aimed at those who see their vocation as being non-stipendiary (voluntary) ministers to churches in their local area.

Makers' Fayre at Hallow Church

New Lay Ministers Authorised
Published: 14th September 202328 people received a certificate from Bishop John last Sunday to mark the completion of their courses to become Authorised Lay Ministers (ALMs). The special service at Worcester Cathedral was a celebration of this form of lay ministry.
Five new lay ministers licensed
Published: 11th September 2023Five people from parishes across the Diocese were admitted to the office of Reader on Saturday in Worcester Cathedral. Bishop John conducted the service, licensing the individuals to minister in the parishes they have been called to serve.

New benches for Wild Church

Each month, people gather to worship God outside, whatever the weather, and they have worked with a local charity, Wildgoose, who have created a number of benches for people to use.
