Supporting other parishes

Grants to help with church repairs

Parishes will now be able to apply for grants of up to £10,000 to make repairs to their church buildings thanks to a new funding stream from the national church.

How your accounts can help your church

As with all charities, including PCCs, these are required by law, however, using your accounts well can be of real benefit to your church and give the PCC confidence in the decisions they are making.


PGS: One-off gifts, one year on

In December 2022 the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) introduced the option for donors to give a one-off gift to a parish and have so far raised over £1.6 million, with the average gift being nearly £200!

National Lottery Community Fund increases grant sizes to £20,000

From Autumn 2023, the National Lottery Community Fund is increasing both the length of time a project can be funded & also the maximum amount that can be applied for.

Alison Maddocks to retire

11th February 2025

Alison Maddocks, our Dean of Smaller Churches will retire at the end of May this year. Alison has worked in the role since the start of 2021, supporting those churches with an active membership of 20 or fewer.
