In May 2022, Worcester Cathedral launched Living Gently on the Earth – a series of events, talks, and workshops on caring for our planet. The sessions have received a wide level of interest and attendance from across the city, county and region.
We are pleased to announce the next phase of Living Gently on the Earth. This is what is planned:
- Sun 25 September 2022 12.00pm-2pm – Visit to Worcester Transition Garden (not in the Undercroft)
- Thu 29 September 2022 2.30pm-4pm – How to Live a Less Plastic Life, Phillippa Gilfillan of Pack It In
- Thu 6 October 3pm-4.30pm – Understanding waste - Visit to Envirosort’s Norton teaching centre (not the Undercroft).
- Thu 13 October 2pm-4pm – “Acting on Home and Building Energy: Save money and the environment” - Act On Energy.
- Sat 22 October 2022 10am-4pm – Eco Family Fair.
- Saturday 5 November 2pm-4pm – Green Transport lifestyle in the Undercroft, with Councillor Matt Jenkins.
- Thu 2 February 2023 2.30pm-4pm – Green Living: Measuring your carbon footprint and acting on it, with Prof John Vickerman.
