Now in its 17th year, Recycle Week will thank the nation for continuing to recycle despite the challenges that COVID-19 has presented, under the banner 'Together - We Recycle'.
Our recycling and waste key workers have heroically carried on collecting while the world slowed down around them. Landmark buildings like Worcester Arena will be lit up green as a tribute.
Actions:
-
Thank your local team when they next come to collect your recycling—give them a card or a thank you gift.
-
In church and in your private prayers give thanks for the growing movement to recycle, reuse and repurpose.
-
Use the week to encourage others, and find new ways to recycle.
