The Stourport Carnival was held on Saturday and the church of St Michael and All Angels was there. Churchwarden Liz Bloomer tells us about it:
St Michael's was, once again, present at this yearsStourport Carnival taking our prayer tent to the carnival field! We were veryfortunate with good weather and delighted to talk to so many people during theday.
"There was once again the opportunity to offer a fairlyquiet space, to light a candle, leave a prayer in the basket or use stones toreflect. Prayer squares and prayer teddies were given to give comfort in thedays ahead. The Revd Carey Saleh was willingly roped in to support the localpantomime group in the procession and much fun was had by all!"
