National Lottery Community Fund increases grant sizes to £20,000

National lottery community fund logoFrom Chris Ottershaw, Stewardship and Resources Officer:

The National Lottery Awards for All is a great funding source for your next community project.

From Autumn 2023, they will be increasing not only the length of time a project can be funded but also the maximum amount that can be applied for from £10,000 to £20,000.

They can fund projects that will do at least one of these things:

  • bring people together to build strong relationships in and across communities,
  • improve the places and spaces that matter to communities,
  • help more people to reach their potential, by supporting them at the earliest possible stage,
  • support people, communities and organisations facing more demands and challenges because of the cost-of-living crisis.

Could this help your church start something new or improve a community project you already run?
