Members from the diocese attended the Time is Now march in London

climate change marchHugh Burton, Rector of the Dudley Team and Chair of the diocesan Eco Group was one of a number of people from the Diocese to attend the 'Time is Now' climate change march in London earlier this week. 

Meeting re climate change with Rowan WilliamsHe said: "It was exciting to be among the 12,000 or so who lobbied their MP's and urged them to act more decisively to cut carbon emissions and address the global climate emergency. A group from Dudley College and the Dudley churches met with Ian Austin, MP for Dudley North, and had a very constructive conversation. Others from the Diocese were also there, all of us setting off our alarms at precisely 2pm to show that 'The Time is Now' for action not just words."
