In 2022, Worcester Cathedral launched Living Gently on the Earth – a series of events, talks, and workshops on caring for our planet and its people. The sessions have received a wide level of interest and attendance from across the city, county, and region.
We are pleased to announce the next phase of Living Gently on the Earth for 2023:
- Sat 27 May 2pm. Prayer in Nature. Eco-spirituality with the Revd Robin Parry.
- Thu 8 June 10.30am. Worcester Cathedral Annual Wildlife Survey. With Worcestershire Wildlife Trust. Bring a picnic.
- Thu 22 June 7pm. Exploring what Social Justice means for Christians.
- Thu 13 July 7pm. Talking Climate Justice with Bishop of Dudley.
- Thu 7 Sept 7pm. Forest Church: An Introduction with the Revd Robin Parry.
- Sat 23 Sept 2pm. Forest Church Taster Session with the Revd Robin Parry.
- Sat 7 Oct 10am-4pm. Green Fair in Cloister.
The events are free. You can get more details and book a place to attend on worcestercathedral.co.uk/eco. Tickets are not compulsory for attendance but will ensure that you will have a place if the event is full and will give us a guide of how many people to expect.
