On Wednesday 27 July, the West Worcestershire Rural Team welcomed Bishop Michael Hooper to one of their twice monthly Communion Service held in Heaton House, Martley, to Baptise and Confirm Karen, one of the regular members of the group which meets together there.
The Revd Jennifer Whittaker said:
"It was a truly joyful occasion as 35 of us crowded into the lounge to support our very excited candidate. Bishop Michael was quite delightful, embracing the atmosphere of the Fellowship, making everyone feel so special and truly affirming Karen in her decision to commit her life to Jesus Christ. The celebrations continued after the service with everyone enjoying coffee and cakes. Thank you so much to Bishop Michael."
