Children & families week in Kidderminster West

Published: 25th August 2021

Kiddminster West Team Vicar, Laura Betson, shares the story of this year's children and families activity week:

Colouring of a snailOnce again this year's Kidderminster West Team Ministry children and families Activity Week was a mixture of online and offline events.

Every day we shared a morning Muddy Church video with an animal-themed outdoor activity, and a reminder to look for signs of God at work in the natural world.  Every evening we shared a Bedtime Church video, telling a Bible story about the animal we’d thought about that morning.  We heard stories about ravens, lions, sheep and even a snake!

In the churchyard at St John’s we held a bee trail, with bee facts, activities and Bible verses to discover and learn.  This stayed up for a week so it could be used and shared by as many families as possible.

Our thanks to everyone who came along, watched online, or prayed for the events.  We made lots of new friends and had a great time!
